Why is it that when you put your hand in the bath to check the temperature, it feels cool enough, but when you put your foot in, it feels like it’s boiling hot?

Likely beacause your toes are cold and your hands are hot. As a new parent they told us to use pur elbow to check bath water temperature

It mìghy feel cool because your hand is smaller and has less blood flowing through it. Blood carriws heat throughout your body, so when you have less blood in a part of your body, it can feel cooler.

But when you put your foot it might feel like it’s boiling because your foot is biggwe and has more blood flowing through. Because of that, it can pick up more heat from the water.
