Why is it that where I live (Tropical Climate) despite the night being around 28*C it always gets colder at dawn?

The temperature lags behind. During the day the ground heats up. In the night this heat is radiated to the air. Temperature slowly drops after sun-fall and continues to drop at dawn because the barely risen morning sun and will heat the ground before heat goes to the air.
