a charged particle like an electron has an electric field around it.
a changing electric field causes a changing magnetic field. a changing magnetic field causes a changing electric field. this causes a feedback loop. electric->magnetic->electric->magne…. we call this an electromagnetic wave. the speed at which this flip-flopping between electric<-> magnetic occurs is what determines the color of the light. blue has a higher frequency than red. radio, microwave, Infrared and gamma waves are all just different colors of light that our eyes cant see. but we can definitely measure them, thats how wifi, and ur cellphone and xray machines work.
