Why is one bug fine, sympathetic, and tolerable, but many bugs are disgusting and annoying?

I mean one bug is disgusting and annoying to a lot of people. Only some people find a single bug to be cute.
But I think the difference for you might be because *naturally*, the human impulse is to be disgusted and annoyed by any and all bugs crawling all over you, but if it’s only one bug then intellectually you can anthropomorphize the bug and view as it as a single individual animal, and not the disgusting elemental threat of “bugs”.
Because one bug shows that the app is being made by a person, just like you and me. Many bugs annoy because the app can’t be used as you want it, you feel not taken serious?
