Why is the lint from dryers always gray?

It’s not? Mine often comes out green because it’s my favorite color and I wear a lot of it. If I wash my towels then it’s all white fuzz, if I wash my couch blankets then it’s all red. You are just drying many colors together so the strands culminate in grayish tones, try just one item and you can get the color lint from that

Because you don’t properly sort your clothes before you wash them and all the different color fibers mix together to make gray.

If you zoomed in closer you would be able to notice it’s actually a mix of a load of other coloured fibres, all interwoven to make a grey mass

It’s a mix of whatever clothes were in the dryer basically

Same as belly button fluff
