Like with apple cider, I was just drinking it, when it reaches the bottom of your throat, there’s a slight stinging. Why does this happen?

If you’re a heavy drinker, it could be that the lining in the back of your throat is thinning and damaged, which would make it sensitive to acidic drinks, like apple cider.
