Why is there no seat-belts on trains?

I’m currently traveling on a high-speed train and I’ve noticed that there is no single seatbelt on it. Why is this? Aren’t trains exposed to the same dangerous factors as cars?

I got CDL years ago. I was going for childrens school bus driver. I asked that question ( there are no seat belts on buses. I was told, if there is a problem it’s easier to evacuate. The average car will buckle and fold where a heavier vehicle will not.
