why is your reflection upside down in concave mirrors at only certain points?

This is much easier with a diagram.
Basically, if you trace the path the rays of light coming from your face travel before reflecting off the spoon and then into your eye, they form a cone and then pass through each other and form an inverted cone.
The concave curve has a “focal point” and past that inverts.
