LPG is usually more expensive than natural gas, per unit energy, but it’s much easier to transport and transfer. Where I live if you live near a city you get natural gas plumbed to your house from the utility company, and if you live out in the boonies, you have a big LPG tank that gets refilled by a tanker truck.
We don’t use CNG in vehicles here, though you see LPG used in forklifts sometimes.
CNG tanks have to hold a lot more pressure, so they’re more expensive, and the consequences of them failing are worse. Though in some places the cost of fuel is given priority.
