Why nuclear fusion results in energy?

So every other kind of energy we can get is from splitting molecules (combustion) or splitting atoms (fission)
So how come we can get energy from fusing atoms together?

Combustion releases energy because the fuel takes energy from the bulk and smashes into the oxygen thus the energy drawn from the bulk is released to become heat and light so it is not about splitting.

Fusion is also somewhat similar, though instead of drawing energy from the bulk, it is drawing energy from the black hole that the hydrogen of the Sun came from so that black hole had its energy taken.

But hydrogen on Earth, though having lost the energy from the black hole, is energised by the powerful magnets used in fusion reactors so smashing the hydrogens together will release that energy.

So using permanent magnets will allow the energy sent into the hydrogen atoms be somewhat free of payment thus allowing a net gain of energy.

Permanent magnets are powered by gravity and gravity comes from black holes and black holes get their energy by disintergrating matter they consume, into energy so the energy is not actually free.
