Why some countries can see crescent to indicate start of fasting or Eid & some countries can’t? I thought we see same moon, same position in relative to the sun, we should see the same thing

You probably know that even with in the same province, iftar will be at a few minutes earlier in the east than in the west; similarly the moon will be sighted at a slightly earlier time.

Most people celebrate according to when the moon is visible in their specific city,; however others celebrate only when the moon is sighted in Mecca.
