Because the baby and the womb owner don’t even have to be related! In a surrogate mother situation, the womb is provided by a third person, who is neither mother nor father by dna line. So the blood type of baby vs womb owner is irrelevant.

Now you ask why if mom dna + dad dna can make a baby blood type that’s not mom dna? Simple. Cause of dad dna.
