Why the *fuck* do we get paid biweekly instead of weekly, or even daily?

Figuring out who gets paid what, and issuing the paychecks, takes time. The more often you do it, the more often you’re spending that time. Spending an hour a day to do payroll stacks up to a lot more time than spending three hours once every two weeks.
