White blood cells eat bacteria, but there is still matter. Think of it as an animal. OK, its dead now, but what do we do with the body? Also, when fighting infections, the white blood cells are using way more energy and resources than they usually do, so they essential fatigue and degenerate. Where do these degenerate cells go? They don’t just vanish. This yellowish block, pus, is a collection of some skin debris that got damage, dead bacteria and white blood cells that have tired themselves out.
