So, I know about the rumors (cats, dogs, &c.) and I’ve heard about several bomb threats to schools, purportedly from non-US sources.
I don’t understand the connection. Last I checked, no-one was rushing to defend Haiti/Hatians. Who’s behind these threats and why?

A lot of people who originally came from Haiti and are legally in America were encouraged to come to Springfield Ohio to work in the factories which were on the verge of shutting down due to the lack of workers. The people came with their families and their children were enrolled in the local schools etc. The false comments about people eating cats and dogs stirred up the deep seated racism in America and tensions over mixed race schooling, funding and other issues have emerged and in an attempt to shut down the schools some people have been threatening to blow the schools up.
