I recently was able to upgrade my AC wifi card to an AX210 card and i can confirm that Wifi 6 is working fine.

Wi-Fi was designed to work with the most primitive antennas on the client side. More advanced antennas typically require more space. Wi-Fi cannot afford to require special antennas. It is designed to be installed in small space-constrained devices.
