will machine run internally if its friction equals 0?

No because you didn’t qualify your question with “perfectly rigid” 🙂

Even with it friction the materials in the machine e.g. cogs will come into contact and experience some sort of deformation (elastic or plastic depending on the force and the material). This deformation consumes energy which is dissipated as heat, reducing the energy available to the machine.

It will not. If you want to get very simple, imagine two cogs, if there’s no friction then how do they move? And if the hypothetical is that they move, but no energy is lost through friction then energy will be lost through sound and heat. Hope this helps!
