Aside from being used for different intensities of pain, is there a key way to distinguish between them?

In: Chemistry

You have nerves that send signals to your brain.

Painkillers slow the rate of fire.

Otc is extremely safe and tbh not effective but do many jobs okay

Prescription meds are meant to do a specific job and do it well. And some release endorphins (pleasure chemical)

Tl;dr
They all slow down our nerves.
Mild, not so much.
And strong ones almost stop them.
Some stronger ones are pleasing even, from endorphins.
