genetics and age
my father’s eyes are like mine
the optometrist said so, one eye is near sighted and one is far sighted
in general it seems like the shape of my eyes change as i age following the genetic make up i received from my father
The lens of your eye focuses images onto your retina so that you can see them. But, for some people, the image doesn’t get focused directly on the retina. Instead the focal point is either behind (farsightedness) or in front of (nearsightedness) the retina. There are lots of reasons, including the shape of the eye, lens, injury, or age.
