How can e-cigs and such be advertised when cigarettes were made illegal to do so?

Simply a grey zone in law, as e-cigs are pretty new, laws are probably not regarding them yet. On the other hand there might be a law that every product containing nicotine needs to be marked as such.

The law says specifically listed things, not all other things that might be interpreted to be like that thing.

It’s illegal for a minor to purchase beer wine and liquor. Does Not apply to vanilla extract which is alcohol. Or mouthwash which is alcohol. Or rubbing alcohol. Or white gas, also alcohol.
