My headphones went through the washer and dryer, how the heck are they still working perfectly?

If they are wired headphones it’s just a few wires attached to magnets nothing much to get corroded and they got dried anyway. Wireless might have a few more corrosion points but as long as they are dry before you turn them back on it should be ok, the internal battery surviving the dryer would be impressive

Because electronics break when the water connect the start and the end of a circuit shorting it and thus burning it, but if there is no electricity it wont’t shurt-cut and thus still work when re dried

They may work great for now but I would think you have greatly shortened the lifespan of your headphones.
