Why is it recommended that half of our total calories should come from Carbohydrates?

Because that’s what the companies producing sugar paid health organizations to believe and blame fats for it instead. The food guide is the biggest lie grandfathered in originating from total bs.

It’s not! That is one school of thought. Many carbs today are refined processed crap that should make up 0% of your calories. The thought is carbs give you energy but it’s quick energy. Fat is a much better energy source. Sugar is not.

Because some of the companies that sell products with lots of carbohydrates pay people to recommend them.

Lots of anti-carb nazis on here, but a plate with the 50-30-20 carb-protein-fat breakdown looks like a normal, balanced meal.

Not like the all fat freak show a bunch of these commenters would have you choke down

On one side we have health organizations saying to eat your carbs and in the other health specialists saying keto is the masterrace diet.

Who to believe?

Especially taking into account that corruption is real, many organizations have payed alot of money to alter medical studies.
