After sweating out in the heat for a while, why when we come indoors do we continue to feel hot and sweat for some time?

Is our skin or body temp still elevated? Or do we just have some “inertia” in our body cooling systems?

our body like every other machinery heats up when used and takes time to cool off. pores on skin let the sweat out to expel the heat. lesser the humidity in the environment faster it cools off.
