Very simply put, it’s an abnormal growth with lots of blood vessels. “Angio” means blood vessels and “dysplasia” is abnormal growth. Not necessarily cancer, just abnormal growth. A doctor would need to give further details on treatment.

As the other commenter said, angio- means blood vessel and -dysplasia means deformation. The colon (large intestine) has a network of capillaries surrounding it, and sometimes if the wall of the colon is weak, these blood vessels can bulge into the hollow space of the colon. This makes the vessels prone to rupturing (since objects are now being pushed against the protrusion), so you can be at risk of blood loss or infection if the vessels rupture.
