I do a wifi speed test and results say the wifi speed is “very fast” but when I turn off wifi and just use my phone internet connection, the apps load alot faster. Why is this happening?

It might be alot of devices on the network, it could be network maintenance, it could be you’re a low priority device on the router, it could be your neighbor hacking your Wi-Fi to use you as a proxy to launch cyber attacks on unsuspecting targets, it could just be you downloading lots of porn

Could be the routing tables on your ISPs DNS are hot trash.

Lookup a YouTube video on how to change your DNS to Google’s DNS…

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

It’s conceivable your Internet speed is good, but your bufferbloat score is bad, but that’s a whole new can of worms. (Id honestly go with Google’s DNS first)

P.S, do a full reboot of your router first too, 90 seconds… off… at the wall

There are a few things that could be causing this issue. One possibility is that your home internet connection is not fast enough to support the apps you are trying to use. Another possibility is that the apps you are using are not optimised for your device, which can cause them to take longer to load. Finally, it is also possible that there is an issue with the app itself, which can cause it to take longer to load.
