are all cables and technology capable of transporting both sound and electrical waves like cables used in usb ?

Electrical cabling can only carry electrical signals. There are no cables for home use or even broadly in commercial use (other than maybe stethoscope “cables”) that are designed to carry sound waves. Cables that carry video signals don’t carry “picture waves” either – they all carry electrical waves that are converted forms of whatever the original signals are.
