VR = you see a fake scene, created by computer graphics.

AR = you see the real world, plus some graphics.

Virtual Reality creates a computer simulated environment around you.

Augmented Reality puts virtual aspects into your real environment.

I would like to start with a question, what is reality?
I mean, just like in Matrix, if reality is the things that our senses can react to, there is no big difference.
Let’s take a scenario that VR is so “real” that only an expert would be able to tell. And just to clarify things, the main difference is that in the real life we have a lot of information, literally everything this that exists is doing something and we call this things information, and in a virtual world the amount of information is almost the same that in the real world but not equal.
If you put someone who just lost his memories in a virtual reality with the maximum amount of information to interact and let him experience the new world and the new sensations, this person would not be able to tell the difference between there and here when he get back.
We say that our reality exists because we live here and everything makes sense in a way, I mean, don’t exist “bugs” on real life, but in a VR game exists due to the low amout of information that don’t let things “make sense”.
If you can’t tell the difference from the reality than it’s real…
