Auxins in plants

Do auxins get destroyed by light or move away from light? When googling some websites say its destroyed while others say it moves, there seems to be no coherency, which one is it? Or are there some auxins that move away from light while other auxins get destroyed by it so both is correct?

Auxins are like tiny guides inside plants.

In the dark, they move to show the plant where to grow towards the light.

When light is shined onto them, some auxins break down, while others move away from the light.

So, it’s a bit of both… some get destroyed, and some move away.

These dual responses allow plants to more effectively adapt to their environment and optimize their growth patterns.
