Can someone please explain chicken eggs to me? What is the difference between the ones we eat vs the ones that hatch 🐣? Do chickens get pregnant? How do they lay eggs all the time ?

chickens will lay eggs regularly even if they don’t get fertilized by a rooster. The ones we eat are not fertilized eggs. It’s essentially a hen’s period. We don’t let roosters into the farms we keep egg-laying hens.
