can your teeth randomly start shifting for you to end up like you need braces or so forth? or do they just stop moving after a certain age

Oh yeah, they keep moving as you age, moreso if you have gum issues and some of the stuff holding them in place wears away. Adults with braces are often doing it to get their teeth back where they once were, rather than for purely cosmetic reasons.
