Experts are always saying that when we first start dieting that it’s the water weight that’s lost meaning it’s not fat or muscle. Can you explain what this water weight is exactly and where does it come from?
What would be the approximate normal amount of “water weight” that’s lost in an average male of say 175lbs and 510″ and a woman of 167lbs and 5 6″
Is this “water weight” the weight that can fluctuate within a 24 x hour or 48 hour period?

The energy in your body is stored in water. When you exercise, you sweat out the water and use the energy to move your body. You lose weight from the loss of sweat first.
When you run out of energy water, your body will convert body fat to more energy water. Now when you use that energy, then you start to lose weight because you turned fat to water and sweat it out.

Lemme tell you, when you go on meds to push excess water out of your tissues, it may be the difference between being able to walk or not. It can cause skin breakdown and wounds.
It’s often indicative of other more serious health issues like Congestive health Failure or other chronic circulatory issues.
