Do music charts like billboard hot 100 omit the attention a song receives after it lands on the hot 100 list?

For example, people finding out about the song from the top 100 list itself does not ideally count for the organic reach of the song. The song might stay in the chart just because people listen to it to see what it’s about and not because its actually good (If that makes sense). I hear their algorithms work by taking a lot of factors into consideration (like radio airplay impressions) to decide a song fits the hot 100 list. Just wondering if the stats contain this.

nothing about music charts is about being organic, it’s about what’s making money. if it’s making money just because it’s making money.. that’s not an issue.
