No. You’re converting the sound to data, and that data can travel the speed of light. Then that data gets to the other end and gets turned back into sound.

It’s kind of like telling someone “hey, tell so and so this thing,” but the person you’re telling that can run *way* faster than you and do a *very* good impression of your voice.
