If u can measure telomeres to determine biological age couldn’t you also use this measurement to determine possible years left to live?

Most people will not die from shortened telomeres. That’s more like an upper limit to your lifespan. Most people will die earlier because of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, accidents, infectious diseases, etc.
