Is it true that people with bluer eyes process sunlight more inefficiently or sumn?

It’s all the same. Light passes through your pupil, which is the black dot in the middle of the eye, not the Iris, which is the colorful bit. Eye color is mostly just a product of how much pigmentation you have in general. Darker skin eyes are slightly less vulnerable to sun damage but that’s about it.
