Eli5- Does the carbonation in “soda water” effect the body differently than drinking regular water. Ie, the benefits from drinking water whether carbonated or not?
I have read somewhere (but I am not an expert so correct me if I’m wrong) that the carbonic acid in seltzer can be mildly bad for your teeth, but not nearly as bad as soda. It might be neutralized though by the alkaline stuff they add to some bubbly water.
