Liquid water – made from two types of gas. Makes no sense to me, whatsoever. Water seems to be one of the strangest substances and we completely take it for granted that, apparently, it’s made of gas!

Gas is just a state of being. Hydrogen and oxygen can both be liquids. It just so happens that when you put them together the overall boiling point goes up, causing it to be a liquid at normal earth temperatures.
