From wich nerves the signal comes.

Nerves are tiny bundles of very thin fibres, just like a bundle of cables sending a signal through one can only come from one specific origin.

so the brain has an input. where it receives information. the information is all just a signal coming through a cable(the nerve in different intensity) each cable is responsible for I sensor. so 1 cable can be a light sensor in your eye (just 1) or a tiny touch sensor in your hand it only covers a tiny bit. it has lots of friends tho and each sensor on the skin has a nerve going from it to the brain.

now the interesting part if you cut a nerve then it can signal all over the place meaning. if you cut the nerve in your shoulder but its meant for your finger your finger can be hurting. not because it’s hurt but because the nerve is hurt sending the wrong signal
