Eli5: How exactly is breastmilk made?

I know there is alveoli involved but how exactly does it work? Is milk made from blood? What chemical processes occur?
I can’t find a good explanation.🤔🤔🤔

Think of the alveoli as a factory. It takes in materials and turns those into a product that it gives to the customer. If you were to watch a factory, you might notice that raw materials are delivered by semi trucks. The factory does a lot of work with these materials, and turns them into something made out of them. The final product then leaves the factory to make the customer happy.

In this example, the trucks delivering the materials is the blood stream. Milk isn’t made out of blood. The blood just delivers the raw materials the alveoli (the factory) needs, in this case protein and sugar. The alveoli takes these materials and turns them into milk, which is then passed on to the baby.
