It does not get destroyed by acid nor by enzymes, so it exit stomach and intestines without any changes.

This appen to many things we eat fiber, uncrushed seeds etc

The mucus lining through our alimentary canal should prevent the burning sensation on the way through. If you feel burning in your stomach then I’d advise antacid or seeing a doctor if it’s chronic.

Is there any reason why I never have had a problem…. on the back end? I hear people complain, but doesn’t seem to affect me. Anyone else?

Never understood this. I love spicy food and eat stuff that most people find painful, but no ring of fire ever.

I have a pretty spicy-aligned pallet. For example, I do the one chip challenge with no issue. I can feel that it’s hot, but it doesn’t bother me. I don’t sweat, I don’t get manic over the sensations.

However, when I poop, it burns on the way out the way I assume people feel it on the way in.
