EUV light at the wavelength of 13.5 nm makes it possible to “draw” much finer, and more precise features on the silicon wafer that is CPU going to be.

However, while EUV is crucial at the high end performance CPUs, it is not really needed for production of majority, middle performance chips, such as those used in automotive, consumer and houshold appliances.
