ELI5. If the Earth’s core is so hot

I saw this question somewhere else, but if the Earth’s core is so hot, then why are the deepest parts of the Oceans so cold? Shouldn’t they be boiling or at least warmer?

The bottom of the Mariana’s Trench to the top of Mount Everest is about 12, 13 miles in elevation change. The Earths Core to the bottom of the Mariana’s Trench is just shy of 4,000 miles.
