Eli5: If the rainforest of Borneo is 130 million years old, why aren’t any surviving dinosaur species found there?

If old rainforest ecosystems like these could withstand extinction events (ie. Asteroid impact), wouldnt the fauna living there survive too?

In the early 1800’s a fungal disease came through and killed almost all the American Chestnut trees. Now in 2023 American chestnut saplings still sprout from seeds buried for close to two centuries (before dying from the fungus that’s still around.) Animals tend to be less resilient.
