Eli5: What are all the ground crew cars at airports used for?

There are lots of things they are used for. They transport baggage and cargo to and from the planes, loads the cargo on the planes, stairs for people to go into the planes, fuel trucks and fuel pump trucks to fuel the planes, vehicles for inspecting, deicing, washing, etc. there are cars to get pilots and other persons to planes parked away from the terminals, vehicles to push back airplanes as they can not reverse, vehicles to help guide airplanes that is unfemilear with the airport, vehicles used for runway and taxiway inspections so the airplanes will not get damaged by lose debris, cars used to chase away birds and other wildlife, vehicles used by maintenance crews to fix lights, signs, antennas, fences, etc. fire trucks, buses, snow plows. There are lots of things that the different ground crew cars are used for at an airport.
