Headaches are a *non-specific* symptom: they can have many possible causes, and don’t tell you very much about what is going on. One of the more common causes, which is itself very non-specific, is a change in blood or other pressure around the brain (not in it – the brain itself doesn’t have any sensory neurons).
Dehydration, stress, strenuous exercise, different body position, stuffed up sinuses, and lots of other things can affect that, so even then, there’s a ton of possible underlying causes.
