It depends at what age the tumor get removed. In child’s neuroplasticity allow the brain to rewire itself to mimic part of the functionality that got lost along the tumor.
The more you get older, the less this ability is effective, so down to earth, you could permanently lose some function that is related to the lobe the tumor was attached to.

The brain is surrounded by a fluid called cerobrospinal fluid (CSF). If a tumor is removed, the rest of the brain that was pressed on by it might spring back a little to fill the space. But mostly it will be filled by the CSF
