They break down into their constituent parts (fats, proteins, lipids, etc) and are either absorbed through the uterine lining or are expelled slowly each time she pees and wipes (the urethra is a different hole and comes out a different place, but squeezing to pee and sitting to relax can allow gravity to assist with it “falling out” for lack of better term)
