The sun puts out white light, which is made of all the colors of light. The color you see when you look at something is the color that isn’t absorbed by the object. For example, a green hat is absorbing all the colors of the rainbow except green and the green is bouncing off into your eyes. Something that is black is absorbing basically all the colors of the white and all that’s left is black for us to see. Because the black absorbs the most color it gets the warmest, the more light something absorbs the warmer it will get.
It doesn’t draw away any dangerous effects of the sun only the light that hits it directly will be absorbed. This being said, sun reflection can be dangerous, you get a worse sunburn in the snow because the white light is all being reflected up back at you.
