You almost never see commercials or advertisments for other types of lawyers. I’m sure there are tons of different types and specialities. Why do you only see advertisments for injury lawyers?

Personal injury is an area of law that is very applicable to average people, because people get into car accidents, slip and falls, etc. Therefore, personal injury lawyers advertise on billboards and late night television. To go to the other extreme, private equity m&a is not something that has a particularly broad audience. Firms that do private m&a advertise a great deal, but since the typical person is not a hedge fund, they generally do not see these advertisements.
