eli5: what will happen if you have pain(like broken bone) and you don’t take pain killers? how body and brain will react/adjust?

It’ll hurt. The brain will adjust by trying to not use the body part that is broken so as to minimise the pain.
After that it’d depend how it heals and how much you use or don’t use it while it’s doing so.
